Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful fiance JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. Most people know me through my Instagram @annephung, where I document my life - highs, lows, and everything in between. My parents accompanied my family to America in the year 1990 when I was only one and a half years old. I wouldn't be sharing my story to you now had my parents not worked to the max and sacrifice. My parents were the source of my inspiration and helped me become prosperous. My plan of life was: I would go to university, get a job in a corporation then marry, and purchase the house. My plan for success was to attend college after graduation, and then find a corporate job. I would then marry then buy a house, and have kids. But life had different plans. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was a job I hated. Money and status did not bring me joy. I believed that I was living a solitary existence to get a pay check. I was passionate about exercising and enjoyed having fun and helping people when I was navigating my new career path. I found my calling in personal training. In 2014, I launched my own business, and in the year 2021 I will be celebrating my 7th year anniversary. Very few Asian women have a job in the world of fashion. It is my goal to be a change maker in the industry to provide the best coaching and guidance to help others to become a healthier and happier them by creating a sustainable lifestyle cater to their individual goals and needs. I also strive to empower people to pursue their dreams and do anything and everything they want to do in their life. When my business was taking the air and I was advancing, my mom passed away. The loss of my mother is hardest of everything. She fought a long and arduous struggle with scleroderma, and is resting in Heaven and with me in my mind and my heart all the time. Life really does have the capacity to give us the exact thing we require even if we are unable to see the lesson at the time. My mother's death affected me greatly and I am convinced that she offered me another chance to live my life. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. Now it was time for her to move on into her new chapter, and my chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. As I enter the 30's I am more vibrant than I have ever. It is true that I live my life today and not just surviving just like I did in the past. My goal in the story I am sharing is to inform you that, you are not the only one. I would like you to be aware that love exists and that therapy can be regular. Your health is truly your greatest asset. My hope is that you live your the life you want to live and have your death be without regrets, since that's the only thing that we have to be confident about in this life.
