Anya Volz is a New York City-based comedian originally from Vermont. The comedian has earned the acclaim of men across America because of her humor, that is described by them as hilarious yet not too preachy. She's a contributor writer and the creator of material to Riot Fest, The Hard Times and Macaulay Cukin Bunny Ears. Their father is Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestral roots. Her mother is Spanish and English descendance. Four of her siblings belong to her father's former marriage. They lived together at home in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 until they relocated to Victoria, London. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocated family was traumatized and decided to not learn English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. She was forced to transfer schools from Northlands to Hill House. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. In the year she turned 16 she quit school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew that she wanted to be an actress. It was when she achieved that dream, Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management gave Taylor-Joy a modeling job.
