Arike Ogunbowale

Arike was an American basketball player that is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She played for Notre Dame Fighting Irish in her college days before being drafted as the fifth pick overall by the Wings during the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale, was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997. She was the second child of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her twin brothers. She was the youngest of her family, and her parents spoiled her the best. Ogunbowale competed at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship winning Gold medals in both. In July of 2014, she was selected as a part of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team for her debut collegiate season.
