Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. Ladd returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the 2nd. She continued her dominance and racked up an stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd was victorious at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
